About Us

    The Malta Food Agency (MFA) was set up to deliver public services in relation to food deriving from farming and fisheries.

    The agency was established by the Prime Minister under the Malta Food Agency (Establishment) Order, 2021 (Legal Notice 7 of 2021), in exercise of the powers conferred by article 26(1) of the Public Administration Act (CAP. 595).
