The SMART FOOD Project, funded under the INTERREG VI-A Italy–Malta Programme, aims to support and strengthen agri-food enterprises through the use of innovative digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain solutions, and advanced traceability systems. The project focuses on improving sustainability, cooperation, and competitiveness within the agri-food sector across Malta and Sicily.
As part of the project, agri-food enterprises are invited to participate in pilot testing activities under the SMART FOOD digital platform. Participating businesses will have the opportunity to test innovative digital services, contribute feedback, and collaborate with other operators within the supply chain.
