On Saturday, 20th December, the Farmers Markets in Ta’ Qali and Kottonera embraced the Christmas spirit through a solidarity initiative organised by the Malta Food Agency in collaboration with permit holders.
Thanks to the generosity shown throughout the day, donations were collected in support of Puttinu Cares, which was also provided with a dedicated space at the Ta’ Qali Farmers Market. This allowed visitors to engage directly with the foundation and learn more about its work while contributing to a meaningful cause.
During the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Food Agency, Brian Vella, visited the Farmers Markets and met with permit holders, taking the opportunity to express his appreciation for their commitment and their collective contribution towards this noble initiative.
The Malta Food Agency remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster solidarity, community engagement, and social responsibility, particularly during the festive season when such values are most strongly reflected.
