The Chief Executive of the Malta Food Agency, Brian Vella, formally presented the book Il-Ħalib: Storja, Xjenza u Kultura to the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, Anton Refalo; the Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Rights, Alicia Bugeja Said; and Permanent Secretary Sharlo Camilleri.
The publication explores the historical, scientific, and cultural significance of milk, highlighting its role in Maltese society and food systems. The book has been published under the patronage of Her Excellency Myriam Spiteri Debono, President of Malta.
Il-Ħalib: Storja, Xjenza u Kultura is available for purchase from the Malta Food Agency’s Customer Care Office. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund. The book may also be delivered directly to the purchaser’s home.
