As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce food waste through our platform Żomm! Tarmix, the Malta Food Agency together with HSBC Malta Foundation organised a dedicated Food Donation Day supporting voluntary organisations that provide essential food assistance within our communities.
This initiative was made possible thanks to the generosity of the benefactors registered on the Żomm! Tarmix platform. A heartfelt thank you goes to Benna, Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd., and Nectar Ltd., who actively participated in this event. They represent just a few of the many companies that continue to support our mission by contributing products through the platform.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the students of the participating schools: St Augustine’s College, Valletta Primary School – Salvinu Agius, St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School in Paola, St Paul’s Missionary College, Mqabba Primary School, SBC Francis Xavier Mangion Primary School in Mqabba, and St Monica School, for their remarkable involvement and enthusiasm. Their collective efforts played a vital role in the success of this initiative.
At the Malta Food Agency, we believe that reducing food waste and supporting those in need go hand in hand. Through Żomm!
